“The Principal’s Pantries is a program that is run by the Jordan School District. This program helps feed students throughout the school year that are struggling with hunger. Filled with stacks of cans and boxes of food, the Principal’s Pantry also helps students who have every day hygiene needs, supplying families with basic items such as shampoo, soap and toothpaste.

Over 1,700 needy children in Jordan School District receive food weekly, and on a weekend basis from their school’s Principal Pantry. And over 3,400 students use the Principal’s Pantry on a daily basis.

West Jordan Women in Business and That Paint Thing teamed up to raise funds for Jordan Education Foundation’s Principal’s Pantries in Jordan School District at our Painting for the Pantries “Paint Night.”

Thanks to our amazing sponsors: Women in Business, Jordan Education Foundation, That Paint Thing, Davenport Foundation Repair, Riverton Music, Residence Inn, Staybridge Suites, Fairfield Inn, Big Dog Pawn & The Joint Chiropractic and all of our attendees, we were able to raise $4,494 for this great cause. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 a check was presented to Jordan School District for this amount to be donated towards the Principal’s Pantries. We want to thank all that were a part of this and look forward to being apart of this next year!”
