Dear Utah Community Leaders,

Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky program is now accepting funding applications for renewable energy projects. The program, funded by more than 44,000 Blue Sky customers, is available to help cover the cost of installing renewable energy systems – including solar, wind, and geothermal – for non-residential, community-serving organizations within the Rocky Mountain Power service area.

Since 2006, the Blue Sky program has added 128 renewable energy projects across Utah, Wyoming and Idaho and supported more than 1.9 billion kilowatt-hours of renewable energy, which has the same environmental impact of eliminating greenhouse emissions from 165,000 cars. This year, the program expects to have close to $2 million available for new renewable energy projects. Rocky Mountain Power will select projects that are innovative and have high visibility and educational value in the community.

Applications are due on Dec. 29, and funding award recipients will be notified by March 2018. Learn more on the Blue Sky website.

I am happy to provide assistance and to answer any questions you may have about the Blue Sky program.

Best regards,

Michael Lange, PMP
