Chambers of commerce began with a simple idea: local economies thrive when businesses work together, build trusted relationships, share knowledge, and solve problems collectively.
The world has changed, but businesses still need connection, visibility, reliable information, and people willing to work together. Residents still need trusted ways to discover and support the businesses serving their community.
The West Jordan Chamber is carrying that original purpose forward while finding more creative, relevant, and meaningful ways to serve the businesses and people of West Jordan today. Our president, Myhriah Young, spent some time researching this, when she first took on her role. She wrote a bit about it; this was one truth she found throughout her studying:
