If you’ve attended a Chamber event recently, you’ve probably seen our new President, Myhriah Young, out in the community meeting business owners, listening to residents, and creating opportunities for connection.
In this introductory video, Myhriah shares her background as a lifelong entrepreneur, how she became involved in Chamber leadership, and what led her to accept the role of President of the West Jordan Chamber of Commerce.
She also discusses her vision for the future of the Chamber: creating meaningful conversations, building trusted relationships, increasing visibility for local businesses, and helping strengthen the connection between businesses and the community they serve.
One concept you’ll hear more about moving forward is:
Learn Local → Know Local → Trust Local → Support Local
Because strong communities are built when people know and trust the businesses, organizations, and leaders around them.
In the coming months, members and residents can also look forward to new initiatives, including Chamber Round Tables, Business Highlights featuring LIVE interviews with local businesses, Coffee Conversations with the Prez, Lunch Bombs designed to support local businesses, and other opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together.
The goal is simple: create conversations, connections, and collaborations that help businesses and communities thrive.
