One of the questions we’ve been hearing lately is:
“What’s happening at the West Jordan Chamber?”

The short answer?
A lot!
As we’ve begun rebuilding the Chamber, our focus hasn’t simply been on hosting events. We’ve been intentionally meeting with businesses, community organizations, schools, city leaders, and residents to learn where opportunities exist and how we can create meaningful partnerships that benefit West Jordan as a whole.
Over the past week, we’ve had several exciting conversations and events that continue moving that vision forward.
Partnering with the City
We recently met with West Jordan’s Economic Development Team to discuss ways the Chamber and the City can collaborate more intentionally.
Rather than working independently, we believe there’s tremendous value in working alongside one another to support local businesses, celebrate successes, and strengthen our community.
We’re excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to many future collaborations.
Building Relationships with Jordan School District
We also had the opportunity to meet with leaders from Jordan School District.
Education plays an important role in the future of every community, and we’re excited to explore ways businesses, educators, students, and community leaders can work together.
We’re very excited about our conversations with Julie Sherzinger who runs their CTE program and hopefully tying that together with some opportunities with our advertising partners. More on that very soon…
Networking That Builds Real Relationships
Our recent Strictly Networking event at the Nacho House in West Jordan was another reminder that people are looking for authentic connections.
The room was full of conversations, introductions, collaborations, and new relationships beginning to form.
That’s exactly what we hope the Chamber continues to become a place where people don’t simply exchange business cards, but build trust and long-term partnerships.
Looking Ahead
We’re excited about everything coming up over the next few weeks, including:
- Women in Leadership: Build Your Brand Blueprint
- Coffee Conversations with the Prez
- Game Day at Galaxy of Games
- Member Appreciation at Fat Cats
- Lunch Mob at Spud Toddos
Each event is designed with a different purpose because we know everyone connects differently.
Our goal is to create opportunities for everyone.
Building More Than Events
Behind the scenes, we’re continuing to build several new initiatives, including:
- Business Beats featuring local businesses
- Industry Round Table discussions
- New community partnerships
- More visibility opportunities for businesses
- Educational programming
- Creative ways for residents, nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders to connect
This is just the beginning.
