Over the past month, one of the questions we’ve heard most often is:
“What direction is the Chamber heading?”
After dozens of community conversations, something has become very clear: Almost everything we want to build falls into three simple priorities.
1. Love on Our Current Members
The businesses that already believe in the Chamber deserve our attention.
We’re working to help our members receive more visibility, make better connections, utilize the benefits already available to them, and create new opportunities that help them grow.
Our goal isn’t simply to have members. It’s to build partnerships with our members who are genuinely glad they’re part of the Chamber.
2. Welcome New Businesses into Partnership
We know trust isn’t built overnight.
That’s why our philosophy has become:
“Let us show you what we can do, rather than tell you.”
As we continue creating new programs, partnerships, and opportunities, we hope businesses will see the value of being part of something that’s actively investing in West Jordan.
3. Engage Our Residents
This is the one that has us especially excited.
Businesses thrive when their communities know them, trust them, and support them.
That’s why you’ll begin seeing more resident-focused content, educational opportunities, community events, business spotlights, and fun ways for neighbors to discover everything West Jordan has to offer.

This is only the beginning. Some ideas are already happening. Some are still on the drawing board. Others will come directly from conversations with you.
We’re excited to keep building a Chamber that serves businesses, nonprofits, and residents alike and we hope you’ll join us along the way.
